      An order of battle of the Left Wing of the Allied army, commanded by the Duke of Cumberland, 1 June 1748. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).

      A rough draft with the regimental rectangles coloured according to nationality: British in red, Hanoverians in yellow, [Brunswickians?] in dark blue, against which is written the name of the regiment and a note of the colours of the facings of the coats.

      Condition: six fold lines. Verso: ink has migrated through from recto.
