An outline map showing all the places where the Allied army were cantoned for the winter 1743. The area covered extends in a semi-circle north of the river Main between Mainz and Hanau, as far north as Kupern (Köppern 50°16'27"N 08°38'58"E). War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with north to top.

Condition: five fold lines; formerly folded to 7.8 x 11.8 cm; small tears to two folds, left and right.
