A list of the encamped regiments at Salisbury, 1757. Accompanies the map of the encampment on the facing page (RCIN 731068.j).
The camp took place from 28 June to 25 September. The encamped regiments, under the command of Lieutenant-General Halley, Earl of Ancram, Brigadiers Elliot and Douglass are: 1st Royal Dragoons; 3rd Dragoon Guards; 3rd King's Own Dragoons; 4th Birch's Dragoons; 6th Inniskilling Dragoons; and 11th Ancram's Dragoons.
